1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or accessing the SoilSync app, you affirm that you are of legal age and authorized to accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the app.

2. Description of Service

SoilSync is a smart agricultural management and soil diagnostic platform. It provides:

• Telemetry logging from paired IoT soil sensors (moisture, temperature, pH, NPK nutrients).
• Farm boundaries and garden bed mapping in 3D.
• On-device and cloud-assisted AI crop disease and health diagnostics.
• Farm succession planting and task scheduling (todos).
• Real-time weather alerts and notifications.

We continuously improve SoilSync. We reserve the right to update, modify, or temporarily suspend app features for maintenance or performance enhancements without prior notice.

3. Agricultural Intelligence Disclaimer

Agricultural success depends on unpredictable environmental factors, including microclimates, weather anomalies, soil histories, pests, and watering routines. SoilSync's insights do not guarantee crop yields or eliminate farming risks. Users are encouraged to combine SoilSync insights with expert agronomic evaluations and local farming practices.

4. User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for:

• Safeguarding your login credentials, password, secure PIN passcode, and biometric lock configurations.
• Any activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying SoilSync immediately at macaraigmarcciejay@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or farm telemetry.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent behavior, or disrupt the platform's operation.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use SoilSync to:

• Bypass, disable, or tamper with security-related features of the app or cloud databases.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, databases, or networks.
• Intercept, alter, or falsify telemetry sensor transmissions.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the application code, custom user interface designs, or machine learning models.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All software code, user interface designs, machine learning models, logos, graphics, and trademarks associated with SoilSync remain the exclusive property of SoilSync and its developers.

Users retain ownership of their individual farm telemetry records, layouts, and crop cycle logs. By using the app, you grant SoilSync a non-exclusive, royalty-free, global license to process and store your telemetry data solely to provide and improve the app services.

7. Account Termination

You can terminate these Terms at any time by permanently deleting your account in the app under Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion, your access will be revoked, and all associated personal data and farm telemetry will be wiped from our servers immediately.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SoilSync, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to crop loss, lost profits, soil degradation, device downtime, or data loss, resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of SoilSync shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the Philippines.
